Ingredients

  • Green cabbage
  • Ground beef
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Onion
  • Garlic, minced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F and line a baking dish.
  2. Slice cabbage into thick rounds and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Mix ground beef with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and seasoning.
  4. Form patties and place one on each cabbage round.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until beef is cooked and cabbage is tender.
  6. Top each burger with cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
