Description

Golden pan-seared tortillas stuffed with seasoned beef and melty cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or slices)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef with onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Lay tortillas flat, place a layer of cheese, then spoon beef filling down the center.
  3. Roll tortillas tightly, folding in the sides as you roll.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pan-sear rolls seam-side down first until golden, then turn to crisp all sides.
  6. Remove from skillet and let rest for 2 minutes before slicing or serving whole.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with dipping sauce if desired.
