Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Fold in cooked tortellini, coating evenly in the creamy sauce.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top and transfer the skillet to the oven.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Feel free to substitute the cheese tortellini with spinach or mushroom tortellini for a different flavor.
