Ingredients

  • 1 can canned tuna (drained)
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup celery (finely diced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, red onion, celery, parsley, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  2. Butter one side of each sourdough slice.
  3. Place bread butter-side down and spread a thick layer of tuna mixture on top.
  4. Add generous slices of sharp cheddar.
  5. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 7 minutes, flip carefully, then cook another 6–8 minutes until deeply golden and cheese is fully melted.
