- 2 lbs cooked octopus, tentacles separated
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 fresh lemon (zest + juice)
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Pat the cooked octopus completely dry to ensure a good char.
- In a bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the octopus generously with the marinade.
- Preheat grill to high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill octopus 3–4 minutes per side until charred and slightly crispy at edges.
- Transfer to a platter, drizzle with remaining marinade, and sprinkle parsley.
- Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
