Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add mashed bananas and vanilla.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to the batter.
  3. Divide into greased cake pans and bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
