- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 4 cups Romaine or mixed greens
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (sliced)
- Pickles to taste
- Roasted potatoes or fries
- Optional shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
Instructions
- Slowly cook sliced onions in olive oil with a pinch of salt until deeply caramelized; cool slightly.
- Blend caramelized onions with mayo, garlic, Dijon, and vinegar until smooth; season to taste.
- Season ground beef with salt, pepper, and paprika; form small patties.
- Sear patties in a hot skillet until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
- Prepare bowls with a base of crisp greens.
- Add burger patties, tomatoes, pickles, and roasted potatoes.
- Finish with a generous dollop of caramelized onion aioli and optional cheese.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce to the aioli.
