Ingredients

  • Vanilla cookie dough (butter-based)
  • Instant vanilla pudding or pastry cream
  • Heavy cream
  • Dark chocolate
  • Granulated sugar
  • Eggs
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking powder
  • Vanilla extract
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Powdered sugar (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; combine into a soft dough.
  4. Scoop dough into rounds and bake 10–12 minutes until just set; cool completely.
  5. Prepare custard or pudding until thick and chilled.
  6. Sandwich custard between two cookies.
  7. Spoon warm chocolate ganache over tops; let set before serving.
