- 3 ripe bananas
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese or milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Mash bananas and mix with warm milk, yeast, sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and salt to form a soft dough; knead until smooth.
- Cover and let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle; spread with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll tightly, slice into rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Let rise again, then bake 25–30 minutes until golden and fluffy.
- Drizzle warm rolls with vanilla glaze before serving.
Notes
- Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best flavor.
- For a richer glaze, use cream cheese instead of milk.
