Description

A cozy, bubbly pasta bake loaded with marinara, tender penne, and layers of melted cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Penne pasta
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb Ground beef (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook penne until al dente and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Stir marinara sauce into the beef mixture and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Toss pasta with the sauce, then pour into a baking dish.
  5. Top with mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the ground beef.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
