Description

Thick rigatoni tubes stuffed with savory beef sauce and baked under a gooey, golden cheese topping — Italian comfort at its finest.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and parsley to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook rigatoni until al dente; drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté onion and garlic, then add beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and season with salt and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine ricotta and half of the mozzarella, then stuff or layer mixture with beef into rigatoni.
  5. Spread some sauce at the bottom of a baking dish, layer filled rigatoni, and cover with remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes until bubbling and golden; garnish with parsley before serving.
