Description

Juicy, herb-packed Lebanese kafta shaped and grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Ground beef or lamb (or a mix)
  • Fresh parsley
  • Onion (finely minced)
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Allspice
  • Cumin
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Lemon wedges + parsley for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine ground meat with minced onion, garlic, finely chopped parsley, salt, pepper, allspice, cumin, and optional cinnamon. Mix well until cohesive.
  2. Wet your hands and shape the kafta around skewers (or shape into small patties).
  3. Refrigerate 20–30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Preheat grill to medium–high and lightly oil the grates.
  5. Grill kafta 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  6. Brush lightly with olive oil for shine and flavor.
  7. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges; pair with pita, hummus, or salad.
