Ingredients
- Ground beef or lamb (or a mix)
- Fresh parsley
- Onion (finely minced)
- Garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Allspice
- Cumin
- Cinnamon (optional)
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Lemon wedges + parsley for serving
Instructions
- Combine ground meat with minced onion, garlic, finely chopped parsley, salt, pepper, allspice, cumin, and optional cinnamon. Mix well until cohesive.
- Wet your hands and shape the kafta around skewers (or shape into small patties).
- Refrigerate 20–30 minutes to firm up.
- Preheat grill to medium–high and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill kafta 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Brush lightly with olive oil for shine and flavor.
- Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges; pair with pita, hummus, or salad.

- For best results, use a mix of ground beef and lamb.
