Description

Juicy boneless chicken thighs pan-seared and coated in a sweet-savory Amish-inspired glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear chicken thighs until deeply golden on both sides; remove briefly.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, and broth; simmer.
  5. Return chicken to the pan and spoon glaze over the top.
  6. Simmer gently until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with extra pan glaze.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
